In a significant stride towards community well-being, the Rotary Club of Nashik Godavari has recently executed a commendable initiative – a Cervical Cancer Elimination Vaccination Program. This impactful endeavor unfolded in two phases, successfully reaching 2000 girls aged between 9-20 years in presence of DG 3030 Rtn Asha Venugopal and Zilla Parishad CEO Ashima Mittal And Sunita Bohra . The driving force behind this transformative project was none other than President Dr. Sangita Lodha, who took personal charge to ensure its success. Dr. Lodhas leadership not only marked a hands-on commitment to the cause but also demonstrated the Rotary spirit of service. With a financial commitment of around 90 lakhs, the Rotary Club of Nashik Godavari procured and administered vaccines with precision and care. The noteworthy aspect of this initiative was the clubs dedication to ensuring that cost was not a barrier to access. Vaccines were provided free of charge to girls from rural and economically disadvantaged families, making preventive healthcare accessible to those who need it most. This impactful project was a collaborative effort, as the Rotary Club of Nashik Godavari joined forces with the Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA) Dr Noopur Khare Director, Dr Priya Prasad & Ms Naziya Khan .RMD Hospital Nandlal Parakh Chairman, Satish Lunkad Secretary & Lalit Sankhla.
