Interact Club Session on Importance of Millets
On July 3rd, 2023, Essence International School hosted a pivotal session on the "Importance of Millets," featuring expert speaker Gayatri Vatsalya. Attended by Rotarians, students, and faculty (totaling 92), Gayatri adeptly conveyed millets nutritional value. Through relatable anecdotes, she highlighted millets richness in nutrients and their role in countering malnutrition. Rotarians resonated with their sustainability, needing less water and fewer chemicals. Gayatri dispelled myths, offered culinary insights, and engaged in a dynamic Q&A. The event left an indelible mark, inspiring a conscious dietary shift for a healthier future.
