Cataract surgeries
It is an ongoing project with the purpose to perform free cataract surgery to the needy patients who were diagnosed in the eye check-up camp at Khadki village. The patients were reluctant to come to Nagpur for the surgeries as Nagpur is 80 kms away from village Khadki. After visiting 3-4 times to the village we were able to convince the needy patients to come to Nagpur after completing required laboratory testing for the surgery. In the second batch 2 male patients arrived at Nagpur for the surgery and cataract surgery was successfully done, the patients names were Mr. Tekam and Mr. Thawakar. we are expecting more patients from Khadki village.
